I want to integrate Frost into my WoT powered onboarding client, and provide this as a turnkey module for web clients in general.
- user comes to web app from QR or link
- existing accounts (with frost co-signers and cold storage already setup) will be able to login to the web app with or without a frost powered extension.
- for new users, “move in ready” profile is created … and they get right to enjoying the app.
- for new accounts (or those without frost) the module allows the user to choose from a list of “trusted” third party co-signers (web apps, native apps, and browser extensions) for signing into other clients.
- for new accounts, the module encrypts generated NSECs with user provided password, allowing the user to safely offload it to a (user chosen) frost powered cold storage app.
- the app itself will provide Frost signing capability, allowing it to act as ONE of the “trusted” (or partially trusted) co-signers for new or existing accounts.
This is my rough idea … so far.
I’ve already built out the QR onboarding app and WoT discovery tools needed for this flow. Frost integration is next.
