But both Fountain and AntennaPod pull files from the same resources, which isn't on Nostr.
Both Zapstore and Obtainium pull from the same sources, which are also not from Nostr.
I can still zap and communicate on Nostr with all the same parties, I haven't lost that ability.
I don't see open source projects as being backpedeling. There is no need for bitcoin and nostr to be built into every app.
Though, it was said some time ago that AntennaPod was thinking about adding zap ability. Not sure what type of headway has been made there. And if they do, they would then be superior to Fountain in every way, I have no doubt.
And, if you don't like their direction, we can always fork it and go another. I don't believe we can do that with Fountain.
