1.
I switched to Damus to @ tag. I can’t remember if I was in search 🔍 or if I was trying to @ in a post when it wasn’t working. When I started typing @ username it wasn’t showing any new suggestions with each letter I typed. It was just stuck on the first options after you type @. And, typing the whole username didn’t create the link with the red/pink text either. I’ve been unable to recreate the issue now, and at the time I didn’t think to reset the app. I think I just did a copy/paste into Damus. So guess it just fixed itself when I eventually killed the app and reopened it.
2.
Another very minor bug: I have to click “mark all read” in DMs to get the red dot to go away. If I open and read all my dms then the red dot is still there and I think I’ve missed something
3.
While I have your attention, a feature request: it would be nice if there was better persistence when writing drafts. It would reduce friction by not having to copy/paste into another app if I need to go find a link or check something before I post or reply
Anyway, I love what you are all building. Thank you for responding. I took
BITKARROT (npub18pu…a699) ‘s admonishing about non-tech people contributing as much as possible by reporting bugs and providing feedback to heart. Communication is key always but certainly essential when creating something meaningful like the nostr ecosystem, and it’s tough (but fun!) to gather pertinent information from the creative chaos.
Hope it’s helpful. 🙏💜
