I grew up in the city where 6 yo Ruby Bridges had to be walked to school by four US Marshals while white adults threw rocks, bottles and tomatoes at her, screamed vile epithets* and threatened her life. So no, you can't tell me I can't identify racism when I see it in its many forms.
*Note: I know the difference between epithets and epitaphs.
