I would like a new word describing tax payments positively. Taxes are how we purchase public good activities, to create strong communities for all. Of course, government departments are obligated to spend it well and should be accountable for that.
I hate the biased term ‘tax relief’ - tax cuts are just constantly presented as all upside. But tax cuts mean service cuts.
How do we frame taxes as positive investment?
