#WordWeavers 24 May: While drafting, do you avoid or binge watch similar material?

they don't really make TV like the sort of stuff I write. Under my other pen name I sometimes find that what I *want* to write is influenced by what I'm currently reading/watching/playing - for example, I wrote more fantasy intrigue when I was playing a lot of Dragon Age - but in general it doesn't go the other way around.
I don't need it and it would be too difficult to find good material that fits my niche.
