We don't have servers. It all depends on which relays you are using for your account. We don't have any control over what goes to your phone, by design.
Unfortunately, bots will always be there. I don't think it will be possible to use Nostr without any bot. They will always slip through the cracks. I know they are annoying, but any tool we develop to censor bots can also be used to censor humans. And nobody wants that.
The best advice I can offer is to learn to ignore them. Because they are always going to be around. Sometimes the interface will be able to hide them from you, but many other times they will just slip through. And accepting that it is ok if they slip through might be the best mindset to have.
