I have a question very suitable to #mastodon: opinions on buying some consumer electronics.
Setting: we do a podcast. The current recording setup is us sitting next to each other talking into the microphone embedded in my Lenovo Thinkpad screen.
It's not *that* bad. However, there's often a difference in our sound level, and clearly the embedded mike has it's limitations.
Thus we have decided to buy an actual mike.
Would the Blue Yeti be good for our purpose?
