Trekkies/trekkers (do people still consider these distinct terms? We're all old now..) are really prone to saying stuff about how they wish star trek would move forward rather than backwards in the timeline. They want to see more of the "post-Dominion War era."
Personally I really want the opposite. I want a show set between First Contact and Enterprise. On earth. Showing some kind of vision of how we get out of *this* mess.
I feel starved for hopeful visions of our own future.
