Here's what I'm dealing with.
Dunno if anyone has any ideas or has encountered something similar when writing an ALSA driver. Format is 44100 Stereo S16LE, with a max packet size of 192, so maybe my periods or buffers are screwed.
To me it sounds more like it's clipping, but I'm not really altering any of the samples
