It's strange. I honestly never used social media much, I've always preferred forums and smaller communities. Such reactions were usually rare, out of the norm, whereas on places like Twitter and Facebook it was the status quo. People have been conditioned to be emotional and antagonistic by corporate algorithms. Hopefully Nostr can be the deprogrammer 😂
