quoting## The gospel according to nostr

This goofy thing is my interpretation of some of the things Jesus said that are often quoted but frequently, in my view, misunderstood. I took the liberty of translating it into nostridge. All my original work, no LLMs
----
And Jesus spake a lesson of His own before those that were teaching:
If your brother sins, criticize him, tell him GFY. But if he repent, PV him.
He is still worthy of a follow or a zap if people so choose.
I simply ask that all men GFY unto others in the manner in which they would have others GFY to them.
----
And Lazarus said, So is being wealthy a crime?!
And Jesus replied, No, not at all. What I say is that where man's mind is, that is generally where his wealth is. Look Laz, my home, when one's mind is beholden to falsehoods, false idols, or pursuits unworthy of his life, he and his wealth are in service of falsehood, which undermines alignment with truth every step of the way. One cannot serve two masters. Be aware that some of what you treasure, in general, might really just be a shitcoin leading you astray from Truth and from righteousness. One must verify.
In short, a wealthy man can be righteous, but only in service to Truth. True wealth consists of living the Pura Vida.
And Lazarus said, How does one live the Pura Vida? 🤔
And Jesus said, Let me put it this way: a rich man traveling on a camel, with bags loaded up of riches, comes to that tiny gate of Jerusalem, you know the one, the Eye of the Needle. Can he pass straight on through to the other side, bags clinging to his side and everything?
No. GFY. He has to take everything off and squeeze in one by one in single file with the camel. Some of his baggage might not fit through at all. So too, some of your assumptions and some of the treasures you cling to will not come with you in service of Truth, and you must unload your assumptions, question them, lest you never enter that realm. On the other side, you may find some of the bags remain with you, and you are indeed wealthy for it. But most of all you are wealthy for being in the most profound state of all: harmony with Truth. That is the Pura Vida. 🤙
Now, had our rich man assessed his baggage more properly before setting out to Jerusalem, he might have saved himself the trouble of some of the work, and he would likely have discovered that some of his riches were counterfeits, some were better left at home, and some he no longer wanted, as they were now shitcoins to him. But even if he had done the work of checking his baggage beforehand, his own measures and estimates may have been wrong, and he would still have to do the final test of going through the Eye of the Needle. He would have to verify.
So too should a man often let go of his baggage, his assumptions, in accordance with Truth. Don't trust, verify. ✌️🧡
