What @sms witnessed can come to our reality in the #EU and #US:
🤯if no one would come to elect and participate in the elections with clear positions in defense of privacy, human rights and especially financial privacy.
🤯if majority of us stays silent to the regulatory labeling #freedomtech as instruments for “illicit activity, threats for environment or energy security“.
What everyone can do:
🔻Be vocal and support during elections period those politicians and groups who oppose such false narratives and support human rights not in the claim but with specific programs.
🔻Educate both politicians and journalists about the abuses of AML/CFT laws by dictatorship and weaponization of banking data.
🔻Ask politicians from you constituency about that issues as a condition for your support to elect them. Be vocal!
In doing so you protect developers of freedom technologies and bitcoin specifically - they will be targeted first of all in case of adoption of negative regulatory language to set up a chilling effect on the industry.
Human rights and #freedomtech, #bitcoin need protection and active position of its users - all of us.
