Sometimes I think I should meet new people and also try to start dating again. But I have no idea how to do that. I want to meet new people and find good people in the world, but I also don't want to use any apps because it's usually people looking for hookups, and I don't think our local bars are a very good space for a young twenty-something. Not that older people are bad. It's just I know I'm just a kid to a lot of folks and if I can't carry a conversation with them about things going on in their life that I could never understand yet, then I'm definitely not of interest to them.

Being a twenty-something in a Southern city with nearly no nightlife and also nearly no daylife is kind annoying.
