I support the LGBTQ+ community.
Yes, I am a straight, biological male, who has always identified as male, who is light skinned, but multi racial (part Japanese on my mother's side), and that does not stop me from believing love is love.
I have been speaking out in support of the LGBTQ+ community since the 1980s before it was safe to do so, or socially accepted. I originally joined the Fediverse May 30, 2023 (Mastodon dot Social), and throughout the whole time, I have remained LGBTQ+ positive.
Anyone can search my profile since I keep it transparent. I not only keep my post searchable, but also my reactions (you can follow every post I liked or boost). I not only keep my follower and who I follow public, but I also publish my block list too (see URL).
I invest everyone - anyone - To go through my post history, view the post I like (on the top of my profile, you'll see "reactions"), notice the people I follow and who follow me too. But especially, search my post history (be my guest). I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of.
That said, my dislike for Sharkey and the developers behind Sharkey is NOT a reflection of my views concerning the LGBTQ+ community. I find it absolutely appalling and absolutely disgusting, that someone would attempt to make that argument. 🤬
I do not judge you so poorly because of your gender, sexuality, or identification. I judge you because you're an asshole! Your sexuality or gender or whatever else you want to fling my way, does not exclude you from being an asshole!! The fact that you would make such a wild claim only furthers the fact that you are an asshole!!
No, I am not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, but I remember a time when my late friend, was beaten almost to death, on the suspicion alone that they were gay. I grew up at a time when I remember hearing about a woman who was raped, and the rapist argument was that they wanted her to try, dick, truly believing they did her a "favor". Times have thankfully changed, but the true dream of everyone being treated equally and fairly, is unfortunately, still not realized, and making wild claims such as yours does not help matters, in my opinion.
