It is diabolical, especially since it’s common for sites to make “Accept All” the default and you have to do 1-2 more actions to reject stuff. So the dark patterns deployed actually make the Euro stance on privacy a UX horror show. Surely the user should be able to set their default preferences at the browser level?! Is that even being discussed in all this regulatory action the EU and UK are doing?
