I remember hearing my mother talk about how some parents were sending their kids to the homes of other infected kids to get it over with. I’m pretty sure mum didn’t approve, but sister & I got it anyway. We shared a room, & were always going to share illnesses, although I think I had measles before she was born or while she was a baby.
