Any hockey fans out there?
I've been *trying* to watch an NHL game televised on a cable sports channel.
I probably have ADHD but that's beside the point... the production is so distracting. Every inch of "white space" is filled with ads. The boards are rotating flashing ads. The ice is jam packed with logos. The graphics that flash are branded and so on...
somewhere in this visual onslaught is a game, a game I used to love following.
Pro sports have hit peak FIAT.
I believe strongly that we are ready for a new model. A model that doesn't assault the viewer but instead massages them with quality.
I'd love to brainstorm with anyone who feels the same way.
It should involve decentralized solutions, NOSTR being among them.
