NostrTool specifically or #nip26 in general?
The general case for #nip26 is that your main identity key can be kept in cold storage. It would authorize a disposable key to sign on your behalf for, say, a month.
That disposable key can be at risk in your Nostr app or browser extension. But even if it's compromised, that disposable key's authorization expires soon anyway, so limits the damage that can be done.
