Two days since the year transitioned and I’m managing to respect the date’s new form of address. There will be unintended slip ups I’m sure — fewer these days as I don’t write cheques or letters — but if I do slip then I’ll just apologise, correct myself, and we’ll all get along without drama. Already I can’t see the year as anything other than 2024.
