During the first year of the Covid pandemic (ie 2020) we reduced emissions by 2.67 GtCO2e
A major driver of this reduction came from the transportation sector - both surface and air.
In 2024 we *have to* reduce emissions by 3 GtCO2e in order to have a 66% chance of keeping heating below 2°C
A great place to start is transportation!
