Sadly, Mercedes doesn't look like an attractive option right now. If they can't get a handle of the current regs, who's to say that they can handle 2026?
Admittedly, Audi is also an unknown quantity. But I'm firmly of the belief that the 2026 engine regs are the way they are precisely to entice Audi into F1 (a la Mercedes for the 2014 engine regs).
