Tick Identification Site
The University of Rhode Island has a site where you can upload your tick picture and they will help you identify it and what possible diseases it might carry.
If you get bit by a tick, remove it with tweezers by grabbing it closest to the skin (by its head) and pull it away from the skin. Save the tick in a plastic bag and take a topside photo. If you squeeze the body, it might push germs from the tick into the skin.
