Yvonne Walker Keshick is one of the finest quillwork artists in North America.
An Odawa tribe member, she received the nation’s highest honor for folk and traditional arts in 2014, when she joined the ranks of the prestigious National Heritage Fellowships, a lifetime honor awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
Descended from a long line of Odawa/Ojibwa quillworkers, she has passed along the tradition to her sons and daughter.
