I chose Ubuntu because I had this assumption that \"Ubuntu provides regular LTS versions with long support times, so I don't have to change much for a while if I don't want to upgrade.\" But someone challenged me whether that's actually true, and I checked: Not really. Debian stable versions and Ubuntu LTS versions have similar support timeframes and both do stable releases every 2 years.",
