feld (npub1yck…ujmw) I thought that windows 7 or 8 had this feature that would pop up a little dialog telling users that things were slow, but I guess maybe they got rid of it because there's enough shit products like terrible USB thumb drives that talk USB 3.0 5Gbps, but their flash chips still run at 10MB/sec, so running faster than USB 2.0 doesn't make any sense.
