But I don’t want my software to stop working if the vendor goes bust or stops selling the software. Secondarily, the creator is not necessarily improving the product or even doing much maintenance. (Which can be fine: not everything needs to be continually changed.)
Ideal for me: when subscription ends, I can keep using last version.
