Not an expert on technicals, but there are better ways to prove reserves than publishing addresses. I haven't looked into what mallers did, or what unchained does, but I'd assume it's some type of complex zkp scheme. In case of unchained I think you're also able to verify YOUR amount specifically stays dormant.
Interesting to think about drawbacks
