"content": "More than 4 GW of solar PV capacity was added to the Dutch electricity grid in 2023, taking the total solar capacity to 24 GW. Last year, solar PV was good for 1/6 of all electricity generated in the Netherlands; this year it will certainly be more than that.\n42% of total capacity is on residential roofs.
