Yesterday, I was invited to speak at an event in Saudi Arabia. Even beyond the idea of implicitly supporting human rights abuses, I can't imagine anyone would want to go who's read who's read Dave Eggers' book 'A Hologram for the King' (later made into a film featuring Tom Hanks)
