I understand keeping the government out but I don't think that applied here because schools don't appear forced to take funds. This just would have allowed our state's young people more options than direct state schools powered by the KEA potentially with whole new schools being brought in. There's no way the KEA could compete with privatized education and would have, with time, ended with degrees of less indoctrination coming from private yet state voucher funded schools in my humble opinion. I could easily see the State using it as a tool but that worse case scenario is no different than current status quo where independent education has to be privately funded.
