Believe it or not, it is even worse than that: Argentina emitted bonds linked to Argentina’s inflation and PBI (gross domestic product). The Kirchner adminitrations manipulated both in order to pay less interests for the debt. Edge funds demanded the country in international courts and it seems "the country" will have to pay all that plus the accumulated compond interests. So yes, they could have manipulated the Big Mac price too, after all, that's sound like a child game in comparison to the other lies.
