Is there a Bitcoin equivalent to ENS (Ethereum Name service)? This seems like an obvious thing that should exist but I can't find anything about it. Bitcoin's scripting capabilities on L1 is probably plenty to handle this. DNS is the perfect example of a system where we rely on centralized custodians when a decentralized, blockchain-based approach would work much better. #asknostr #bitcoin
