#WritersCoffeeClub 24-11-29: What did you edit out of your most recent book?
Full orchestration, five-part harmony and all kinds of phenomena...
With the way I write, I tend to not end up not editing out much, or editing in much either.
Like, I'll tweak wording. Such as when I went back to the scene where Parthia kills Rau,
From 'he didn't even get to scream' to "We didn’t even give him the luxury of a scream." to reflect that she is now an active force exerting herself rather than passive and observant to events happening.
but chunk out a scene or etc? doesn't really happen. I tend to not put the words down unless my brain starts making tap-tap-tap-tap typewriter sounds
