They estimated my JRT at 4 years old. She was at least 8 years old when I got her, fuckers. Then again I probably wouldn't have adopted her had I know she was that old, seeing I had an 18 month old dog already, and wanted a younger dog along side her. It was the best fit ever though. So it worked out great. But it happens the other way round too. YMMV. Living creatures and all that. Ya never know.
