These people hate everything about The Enlightenment. They would be happy to return to feudalism. They call their movement Dark Enlightenment and it is batshit insane. Terrifyingly insane, considering how much of it they've been able to implement in less than 3 months.
The thing that none of the DE techbros and the government they purchased have considered in any of their plans is how many people in America have guns. Lots of guns. So many guns.
And they have amped a lot of those people up to the boiling point, and if they start going hungry or their mom dies because her SS check or meds didn't arrive, then they aren't going to turn on the brown people, they're going to turn on the rich people and it will make the French Revolution look civilized.
