you can definitely tell the backup servers that i buy are of a "lesser pedigree"
primary storage: works great, all disks show up, 128GB of RAM, network's good, all is well
backup server: immediately blows a stick of RAM (now down to 16GB), both NICs are not showing a link up state, none of the disks appear, and even the RAID controller is MIA
