Omigoddess, how many rogue tomato plants have I had?
I put them in a glass or jar and cover them with water. You want them to ferment, and when there's mold on top of the water, you drain off the yukky stuff and put them on paper (like your coffee filters) to dry. I don't know why this is recommended as opposed to just washing them except you want all the pectin off the seeds. ???
Do you keep your seeds in the freezer? I learned this from a woman I used to buy seedlings from.
