Well considering everyone uses one J.P. Morgan mint right now I would say even if there were only 100 mints that would be 100 times better.
But every company or group could run their own, that's the beauty of being on lightning, any amount of mints are interoperable so you don't have to trust any foreign custodian, you can use your own company or community.
