I imagine it jockeys for position slightly, but Vancouver is about the most expensive town for housing in North America https://www.propertyshark.com/Real-Estate-Reports/2014/05/20/north-america-most-expensive-cities/\nAukland rents are about a third lower according to https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Canada\u0026city1=Vancouver\u0026country2=New+Zealand\u0026city2=Auckland and all else over 10% less expensive.\nGlad I live up here and not down in Vancouver me! :-)",
