Am I missing something? In my understanding a passport will allow you to visit other countries. But not to stay in other countries. For that you need (where available) the right kind of visa, or the right to reside, and that is highly variable.
If you can prove you have been or are at risk of being persecuted by the laws in your own jurisdiction you may be able to ask for asylum. Difficult and expensive to prove, and very risky. Unlikely anyone applying to country in Europe for asylum from USA would receive anything other than a giggle by way of reply. “But you come from The Land of the Free….😂😂😂😂????”
