im interested lately, in a hypothetical timeline that goes something like this:
Continuity of Government framework is instituted in the US around 1950
Continuity of government is used as an excuse to assassinate JFK
Criminality reaches critical mass in the US national security state in the 1980s
Continuity of Government plus pervasive criminality in the US national security apparatus births an ethos that elevates preservation of government power above all else, and views the current American paradigm as “unsustainable”.
Begins to take steps in the 1990s to create a breakaway parallel system.
2001, and 2008 are used to empower and fund breakaway Continuity of Government. “Classification” is used increasingly to hide technology from the public. USAID is increasingly used to launder money out of the current system, into the parallel system.
by 2012, the entire bureaucracy is under breakaway system control.
in 2016, the US executive branch comes under the control of someone outside of the breakaway system, posing threat of exposure, and potential loss of control. Steps are taken to neutralize the threat which backfire.
