But that same person may not be able to manage 9hrs at a high-stress job with 1hr commute, plus \"catching up\" at weekends, knowing that they could be made redundant tomorrow.\n\nThese describe Dad's job 40 years ago that he was good at, and a similar one now that would very likely burn him out.",
