My relationship with my mobile phone fundamentally changed when I stopped calling it a “mobile phone“ and started calling it a “PCD” - a Pocket Computing Device. By changing its name to reflect its utility I was able to better understand AND accept why I use it, and more importantly, how I should FEEL about using it. Game changing!
