This kind of thing is exactly, exactly what I think about when people say fedi is bad because what if your admin suddenly decides to close the instance down and your account is just gone?
Your account can just be obliterated at any time with no recourse on all of the corporate sites too, sorry. If your account is that sensitive (say, if your business relies on it) you need to self host. Whether that's self hosting a fedi platform or just having your own website, you cannot rely on social media ANYWHERE for anything sensitive to you. This isn't a fedi problem like some believe.
