The average salary for a Fortune 500 company CEO in terms of hourly #wages comes to $7,644/hr. That adds up to $15,900,000.00 per year.
Everyone one of these CEOs will argue raising the hourly federal minimum #wage from $7.25 to $17.00 will hurt business. Because that's what capitalists do.
I'm more concerned for the small, local businesses (food trucks, coffee shops, etc.) but I believe they'll survive too. They might get more business too with more $$ circulating.
