We were slapped in the face with what our kid would NOT be taught in public school. For example, Financial Literacy. They have books for every grade level. It's just a book of regular course material like any other subject, but will never be seen in the public school. Books on critical thinking, philosophy, astronomy, Latin...the list goes on and on. It's all there for whatever grade level you need. We know we made the right choice, but that really drove it home.
