"content": "Most PC soundcards share two traits:\n\n- Noisy as fuck wiring / poor isolation (PCB traces just jammed wherever they fit, for example)\n- Dismal amp stage power which tends to lead to limp bass and sluggish transients (quick snapping/punching notes)\n\nDon't ask me too much beyond that, you're more qualified than me overall. But I wanted to somewhat support your hypothesis that it's bass, and share with passers-by who read this thread :)",
