Society easily generates concern about a celebrity’s relationship, but finding funding for a DV shelter is difficult. People want to watch tv shows about rich people’s cribs, but aren’t that interested in the tents along our freeways. Of course there are allistic people who do care about DV shelters and the homeless, but, if funds allotted are an indicator of concern, society cares more about people who don’t really need help than people who really do.
