Just want to say that I hate people who don't even know what Cinco de Mayo commemorates who want to "celebrate" the day with "Mexican food and drink". (Most of what y'all are eating can best be described as Tex-Mex anyway.)
Just say, "I feel like tacos today" and be done with it.
Update: OK I don't actually "hate" the people. Overuse of that word minimizes the depth of the hatred that marginalized people endure. Let's say they annoy me.
